Wisconsin Sports Network’s Mark Miller is reporting that Wayne Tinkle and his Montana Grizzly coaching staff is recruiting Trinson White of Milwaukee Riverside high school in Wisconsin. White is a 6-4 (I have seen him also listed at 6-5) prospect who is really burning up the AAU circuit this spring. ESPN and other scouting organization identify him as a point guard prospect but in the last 3-4 months he has played every position on the floor.
As I understand it Riverside has a small enrolment and at 6-4 White has mainly played the power forward and center spot the past few years for them. This spring, though on the AAU circuit he has been able to move to the back court positions and has really exploded on the recruiting scene.
Last year for Riverside he averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds a game and for most college evaluators was considered an undersized interior player, and was not getting that much attention. I do believe though the Griz have been recruiting him since this past winter.
White was a first team All City league player as a junior for Riverside.
