Griz Recruiting: Bryan Bock


I have heard that the Griz are looking at shooting guard Byron Bock of Eisenhower high school in Rialto California, Rialto won the California State championship with Byron’s older brother Andrew Bock leading the way. Andrew had 25 points in the championship game with three other players (including Bryan0 scoring 11 points.

Andrew Brock was a highly recruited point guard in 2009, and eventually signed with Creighton University after being recruited by such schools as Gonzaga and St. Mary’s. Andrew is expected to compete for the starting spot as a freshman at Creighton.

What makes Byran intriguing is that prospect is that as the season progressed his play steadily improved. He averaged 10 points a game for the season but in the second half of the season was a mid-teens scorer. Eisenhower also played a defensive oriented game with Andrew being the offensive focus.
