Bobcats to sign Christian Moon

I have heard that Montana State head coach Brad Huse has landed his fifth JC recruit of the this week end when Christian Moon of Henry Ford CC college committed to the Bobcats after an official visit this weekend.Moon has played the past two seasons with Bobcat fall signee Jamie Stewart, and I think this connection played a big part in his committing to the Bobcat program. While Moon does not quite come with the post season awards that the other three JC guards in the 2011 recruiting class, he does have very impressive distinction that made the Bobcat coaching staff very interested in him.Moon lead the NJCAA in three point shooting with a remarkable 52% (52 of 99 shots) from beyond the three point arc.

Moon is a 6-2 shooting guard who averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assist, 2 steals, 54% fg (on a total 259 shot attempts) and 74% FT. While Moon is a prolific and deep three point shooter he not a one dimensional player that many three point specialist in the Big Sky are. He uses his deep range to set up his mid range game, and is athletic enough that he is a very good rebounder from the guard spot.

Moon also held offers from Idaho State and Southern Utah.
