Griz Recruiting: Devon Manning

In my effort to update some players on the recruiting list, I am updating some information on Devon Manning.

The Griz were recruiting Manning pretty hard in 2007-08, along with quite a few other D-1 programs. Manning was a high scoring (23+ points a game) 6-1 point guard out of Pueblo Colorado who was considered to be the best point guard in the state in 2008. It was reported that he had over 15 offers from the likes of Montana, Washington State, Colorado State, Wyoming, and was considered to one of the best point prospects on the west coast. Despite this and a reported 3.5 GPA he had to go the JC route.
