G. F. Trib Boy’s Super State Team

This past Sunday the Great Falls Tribune announced their annual list for the Montana Super State All Boy’s Basketball team. Many of the same names that appeared on a Midland State of Montana All Star Classic team but the main difference though is that the Super State team is that it can name underclassmen to its team. The other big difference is that the Super State team will never play a game together.

I like this team’s selection a lot. Again, I might have made one or two other choices, but the difference are dependent on how you look at. The usual suspects are all there save for Blake Brumwell (of Big Sandy) is there. The two under class men on the team are Riley Bradshaw of Corvallis and Jordan Richards of Butte central. Bradshaw who is only a sophomore but is rumored to already hold D-1 offers. The other is Jonathan Richards of Butte Central who I am sorry to admit that I really do not know much of him. Looks like I am going to have to get on the ball on that.

Here is the Super State Team (w/ college choice)

Josh Huestis 6-8 CMR (Stanford
(18 points, 13.6 rebounds and 4 blocks)
Matt Miller 6-4 Helena Capital (Boise State – Football)
(16.3 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.5 steals)
Jordan Overstreet 6-1 Three Forks (Montana Western)
(23 points, and 10 rebounds)
Brian Muller 5-11 Billings West (unknown)
(20 points, 3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.9 steals)
Shay Smithwick-Hann 6-4 Kalispell Glacier (Montana – Football)
(15 points and 10 rebounds)
Kendal Maier 6-0 Missoula Sentinel (Southern Idaho JC – baseball)
(17 points and 2 steal)
Jonathan Richards Butte Central (junior)
(16 points)
Riley Bradshaw 6-2 Corvallis (sophomore)
(23 points 5 assist and 7 rebounds)
Corbin Pearson 6-5 (Big Sandy Montana State – Northern)
(23.3 points and 13.3 rebounds)
Joe Stulc 6-5 Winifred (Rocky Mountain College)
(22 points and 12 rebounds)
