Prep basketball: Montana previews

With Montana prep basketball kicking into full gear this week end, after getting a few school kicked it off last year I thought I might publish a list preseason previews that the various newspapers have published so far this week. They do a much better and more comprehensive job than I could ever do so I will leave this up to them.

Check back a few of the news papers still have a few more previews to publish. I will add additional links to this post as they come out.

Great Falls Tribune

The Trib did one major article that covers both Boy’s and girls in all classifications. It is a monster, I had to print out a hard copy to actually read it. Printed it is 7 pages long and it is pretty comprehensive. The only complaint I have with their preview was that it is published with out any headers so the boy’s and girls as well as each classifications just flow from one to another. It makes it real difficult to find a particular classification or school.

Billings Gazette

The Gazette does a nice job of highlighting most of the Class C and B in the south eastern side of the state. The gazette does not written article on every classifications, but it is more of a capsule of each team in a particular classifications. The Gazette did do a full article on the Class AA boys and you will find a link to that below.

This page links to the Billings Gazette Prep page where you will find their capsules /previews of the following conferences 11-12C, 7C, 6C, 4C, 3C, 2C, 5B, 4B, 3B, and 2B.
