The Billings Gazette has a nice article / interview on Lady Griz signees and cousins Carly Selvig and Jordan Sullivan. It is a pretty good article on their relationship and recruitment I enjoyed it quite a bit. I have a short except from it below but you should check out the entire article.
Two of a kind

Glendive’s Carly Selvig and Sidney’s Jordan Sullivan are cousins first, rivals second.
The two titans of the Eastern A have been sparring against one another throughout their high school careers.
Selvig and her Glendive teammates, under longtime coach Richy Powell, have been to the cusp of a state title in each of the last two seasons only to fall short at the state tournament.
Sullivan and the Eagles, meanwhile, have gone through three coaches in four seasons and have yet to advance to the state tournament.
Aside from a stint playing together on an AAU team this past summer, Selvig and Sullivan haven’t had many opportunities to play with one another in recent years.
That will change next fall when the duo moves on to the University of Montana, where they’ll play for coach Robin Selvig – their uncle – and the Lady Griz.
Selvig joins a family tradition that includes her father Doug (UM, 1980-84), her mother Anita (UM, 1981-85) and her brother Derek, who currently suits up for the Grizzly men.
Sullivan’s mom Sandy, who is Doug Selvig’s sister, played for the Lady Griz from 1978-81.
Gazette sportswriter Greg Rachac got the opportunity to speak to both Selvig and Sullivan before the season began. Following is a glimpse of those conversations:
