Rivals.com is reporting that Bobby Haucks University of Montana Grizzlies are recruiting Jordy Johnson of Sheldon high school in Eugene, Oregon. Johnson is a record setting quarterback who surprisingly has not received a lot of serious offers from D-1A (bowl subdivision). Johnson is a 6-1, 185 pound quarterback, who runs a 4.5 forty time with 32” vertical.
For this season so far he has compiled some pretty amazing stats. He has completed 91 of 126 attempts coming into this week end for 1,760 yards and 26 TD’s with only one interception. Johnson has also rushed 60 times for 613 yards, and has caught one pass for 31 yards receiving.
For his career passing he has 475 completions on 651 attempts for 6,440 yards and 64 touch downs. His career rushing is 2,430 yards on 382 carries.
Currently Johnson has offers now from Army, Air Force, Montana, and Portland State, but is getting some looks by a handful of D-1A schools including Oregon State. Off the schools who have offered Air Force seems to be the leader.
