Big Sky coaches and media polls

BigSkyConferenceThe Big Sky Conference has released its’ pre-season men’s polls for the 2009-10 season and there is not much of a surprise in them. Weber and Montana were ranked 1 and 2 respectively with Idaho State taking third in the Coaches Poll and Portland State taking third in the media poll. They switch places in the other poll. Montana State is ranked fifth in each poll. The only surprise I saw from how I thought the ranking would come out was that I thought Portland State would be picked second and Montana third. These preseason polls have a history of being hit or miss, with some year the coaches and media being spot on and others not even close. Here are the polls

6. Northern Colorado 31
7. Northern Arizona 22
