Bobcat FB recruit: John Vicente

JOHNVICENTE4_2150John Vicente is already a member of my Bobcat recruiting list for 2010. As a matter of fact he was one of the very first members of the list even before I create this Blog. I first hear the Bobcat were looking at close to a year ago, but given how long ago it was and the other schools involved, I really was not sure if it was worth a post on him, but recently the Bobcats were once again mentioned as a school he is currently considering, so here we go.

John Vicente is a 6-1 255 pound line man from Prescott high school in Prescott Arizona. While he plays on both sides of the ball he is primarily being recruited as an offensive center. His stats are Maximum Bench of 305, Max. Squat 415, 5.46 40 time and 26” vertical.

He is currently being recruited by Arizona, Arizona State, Boise State, Montana State and Northern Arizona

VICENTE

John is #79, on top.

Junior is a great young man. He has great potential and wants to play football at the next level. He is committed to play the game. His family annually vactaion in Bozeman area and are very much involved in the outdoors. His dad is a reknown Big Game Guide in Arizona. I spoke with Junior recently and Montana State is one of his favorite schools. He has wondered if they have any interest in him so hopefully they will consider him. He recently was contact by Army football and they have invited him to a game and an unofficial visit from what I understand. My impresson was that NAU and Montana State are his top 2 choices for now. The opportunity to play at the highest level of football in college is his goal but he wants to go to a program in which he will have an impact and have the opportnuity to play. Who knows what the season will bring. I also know that he will play D-2 football if a higher level does not give him an opportunity. But truthfully this kid works harder than any kid that Prescott High School has had come through their program in the past 15 years. He is respectfull and shows his work on and off the field. Where ever he goes will the program will be glad they got him to commit to their program.
