Gavin Duecker recruiting: Bobcats FB

duecker

Rivals.com has an interesting article on Gavin Duecker a 6-0 quarterback from Lakeville South high school in Minnesota. Duecker spent some time in the Bozeman area this summer, enjoying the outdoor activities with his family and I believe taking in the Bobcat football camp. Being an outdoorsman he really enjoyed his vacation in Bozeman and has set about recruiting the program.

Duecker played back up quartback for Lakeville south last year and is pretty much an unknown right now in recruiting circles. He played behind QB Nick Bailey who I believe was getting some D-1A looks but I think had to go the JC route. This spring and summer Duecker has led the Lakeville football team to the championship of both the Vikings Tournament and the University of Minnesota Tournament in Minnesota and has started to get some attention from these Tournaments.

Duecker is getting some recruiting attention from local D-2 schools, but the Montana State coaches are intrigued, and have told him that they will be watching him this fall. I do not have a good feeling as to what level of player Duecker will end up being, but it is a good story. It also is a good example of you are interested in a program let them know, they may not even know you exist.

The Cougars have had a good season, and under Duecker’s suberp leadership, they have grown closer as a family, and a team. Their unity is apparent in the way they play, and if the Wildcats were to pass up on him, not only would they lose a great player, but a great leader as well.

This article is very interesting. I am the ballboy for Lakeville South and after reading this, I agree with everything that was stated. He is poised and a good leader, he has a good arm, and he is very mutch a team player. I think that if the choaches at Montana State pass up on him it would be a big mistake. I wish the best for Gavin Duecker.
    Sincerly,

Gavin Duecker is a very great quarterback. In his first game he threw three touchdowns for over 190 yards. He had great poise in the pocket and showed great leadership. He is very capable at playing at this level of ball he has a very strong arm and great work ethic.
