I have run across a couple high school football players that Rob Ash and his staff may be looking at, but I can not find a heck of a lot of information on either so I have decided to combine them into one post.
The first prospect is Dominique MCallister, a 5-9, 170 pound running back from David Douglas high school in Portland, Oregon. MCallister is also getting some attention as a corner back prospect. David Douglas was also one of the better high school programs last year in Oregon. As of right now Montana State is the only D-1 program that I know is showing interest in him at this time, but I do not believe he has been offered by MSU.
The second prospect is actually the first 2011 prospect that I have run across. Drew McKinney is a 6-2 175 pound wide receiver prospect from Woodrow Wilson high school in Dallas Texas. McKinney runs a 4.56 forty, with a vertical leap of 38 inches and a max bench press of 190. I do not believe he was a regular starter for Wilson high school but has caught the attention of a lot of coaches with his summer combines. I have heard that Kansas, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, SMU, Wichita St., and Montana St. are all showing interest right now, but it is still a good 18 months before he will sign with any program,
