Rivals.com is reporting that the Bobcat football staff is recruiting linebacker Josiah Flack from D’Evelyn high school in Denver Colorado Flack is a 6-0 215 pound prospect who also has also could get some looks at safety. He compiled 155 tackles, 10 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries last year. He was named the 3A Defensive Player of the Year and one of just four juniors named All-Colorado by the Rocky Mountain News.
Flack is known as a very aggressive player, who plays much bigger than his size. He runs a 4.6 forty time and a 315 pound max. bench press. To top it off he is a 3.6 GPA just for a little extra.
Flack was receiving a fair amount of attention from Pac-10 and SEC schools, but his height has scared some of them off. Last spring Vanderbilt verbally offered Flack a scholarship in but a written offer never came through. Stanford, Wyoming, CSU, Kansas State, Arizona State, and Washington were schools that were looking at him when it was assumed he was 6-1, but have backed away. Currently Colorado, Air Force, Northwest Missouri State and Montana State are showing the most interest but none have offered.
