Bobcat FB Recruit: K.J. Cusack

St Joseph vs Nipomo

It is being reported that the Montana State football program is recruit K.J. Cusack from St. Joseph high school in Santa Maria California. I am going to classify Cusack as an “athlete” prospect, because when you look though the internet article on him you will find him listed as a running back, wide receiver, kick return, and defensive back prospect.

I understand that he played primarily running back on offence for St. Joseph compiling 553 rushing yards on 77 rushes, and 9 receptions for a total of 130 yards. He also totaled 8 touch downs last year.

Cusack is a 5-10 athlete who weighs 160 pounds, runs a 4.43 forty, and has a 36 inch vertical. He was also was named Co-Defensive player of the year basketball Pac-7, and is top 5 ranked track sprints man in the region.

He is ranked in both Scouts.com and Rivals.com as a single star athlete, and a ranting of 40 on ESPN. He has Cal Poly, Montana State and Portland State listed as high interest right now with Hawaii, UC Davis, Boise State, Oregon State, and Colorado State also showing some interest.

Kj is a Central Coast Elite athlete, who will be playing Div1 football at the next level. He excels both on the field, also in the classroom.I expect Kj to make a huge impact this year with his speed, agility on both sides of the football, and specials teams. The kid has for 4.4 speed with great vison, great lateral movement.
