I have heard that Wayne Tinkles University of Montana Grizzly staff are recruiting James Ellisor of Glendale Junior College in Arizona. Ellisor is a 6-5 (but I have also seen him listed at 6-4) guard forward who originally prepped at Glendale high school in Glendale Arizona. See a pattern here.
The Griz originally recruited Ellisor out of high school along with San Francisco and a few others, but he eventually had to go the JC route. Since then they have been keeping touch with him, and are now very interested in him. At Glendale JC he has been flying a little under the recruiting radar but he is starting to get a lot of attention from a number of D-1 schools with his play his sophomore year.
Currently Ellisor is averaging 20 points 6 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 60.7% from the field (8th in the ACCAC) and 85.4% from the free-throw line. In high school he averaged , 23 points and 10 rebounds per game, while shooting 54% from the field. He more of a slashing guard than a pure shooter. He is very athletic and has the ability to score and draw fouls with multiple players draped around him. He also is a very good defender with long arms that he uses to swipe balls away.
